Newbies!
~ Cody Simpson had his 2013(?) hit Pretty Brown Eyes on this countdown and I'll say so myself, it was good. This one is
better though. I feel the slower not as crazy feel is better for Cody due to the fact his vocals are on point! This song definitely has potential! Let's see what happens!

~ Who is this Katy Tiz? I don't know. I will say personally I've never heard of Katy Tiz or the next debut artist this week. That really doesn't matter though, because she has a song that is bound to be her breakout hit into the music industry (same with our next debut artist). Whistle (While You work It) has a fun feel to it and I like it. In fact, the 1st time j head it I started singing along. The music video just came out this past week and it was pretty entertaining to watch! I don't know why but she reminds me of Rihanna, especially in the chorus. Weird, right?

~ The Super Low band that goes by the name of All Time Low is now on the countdown with Something's Gotta Give! This song is one of the few "rock" songs today that I like. It has a good beat in the background, especially with me playing percussion (at my school),it's super fun to pat my foot along to the beat in my car. Anyone else do percussion in the squad? No :( okay ;(

~ Let me just say one thing. I'm Ready only peaked at #20, this song debuted at #22. So basically, Infinity almost debuted at the spot I'm Ready peaked at? Interesting. That's all I have to say. I'm especially suprised no one else noticed this. This song is a countdown filler, that's all.

Hitbound
~ so Omi- Cheerleader finally entered hitbound after randomly airing for a month. I seemed to hear this song a lot in the car for some reason. My mom & I always argue whether it's Omi (Ami) Omi (Omi), did that make sense? I find this song incredibly weird. Anyone like it?

~ Rachel Platton- Fight Song has entered the hits 1 airplay list! This song is definitely her breakout single! It's really good! I love the chorus and I have a feeling this song will do good with the way the music industry is these days. Vote for this to debut!!!!

~ Sia- Elastic Heart literally never aires during the week. It's somewhat popular everywhere else, but I guess Hits 1 just isn't geared towards this type of music.

Something's gotta blurb
~ life Of Dillon- Overload is pretty much done. Thanks for your time here. I have a feeling I will be hearing more from this guy, or hey maybe this one will somehow jump back up?

~ Taylor Swift- Shake It Off is going to be her until late May or June and then drop off I assume. I still really enjoy this song! Actually, I heard it on Thursday coming back from somewhere :))))

~ LunchMoney Boy dropped this week! C'mon! I seriously thought this song would be top 10, but after airing very little this week maybe not. It definitely still has life in it and will jump next week. Don't expect this drop to last long, ok Adrian?

~ I thought Fall Out Boy- Centuries would find a way to stutter step it's way off the countdown this week, but I gues it still had at least a week left.

~ Charli XCX & Rita Ora- Doing It has been a very fun song for me to listen to the last few weeks. It kind of reminds me of like, when me & the squad go to the movies on a Friday night and we just take over and get hype! I don't know, this song just makes me want to party! Sadly, this may be it's last week :(

~ I don't understand why David Guetta/Nicki Minaj & Afrojack- Hey Mama is dropping?? It jumped 17 spots on the BT100 this week and it drops here?¿ This countdown just makes no sense :/. On another matter, I just actually noticed how sexual these lyrics really are. For real, this song is very sexual.....

~ So this week was a set up for a big jump next week, right Natalie? Okay! Thanks.

~ I feel Fall Out Boy- Uma Thurman has reached its peak at #8 (or was or #9). This song still does have that remote chance but I don't see it happening. Thanks for your time here!

~ I'm really starting to enjoy When Da Beat Drops Out this week! It's actually really good! I don't why I didn't enjoy it before, maybe I thought it was too slow? Anyways, it's good!

~ You guys saw it right, my new Favorite song on the countdown is Jason Derulo- Want To Want Me! It has such a good vibe and I can't help but move or sing along to it! This song was at #4 on ITunes sometime yesterday and I hope it stays there!

~ Olly Murs/Travie McCoy- Wrapped Up hasn't peaked yet. Mark my words right there! Next week this song will jump to  #6. I just feel it! Hopefully I'm right so I don't sound like that Swami that is clearly doesn't actually know the future....

~ I don't know, but Andy Grammer- Honey I'm good could be a #1 song. It gets the airplay but not the votes. The song is at like #14 on ITunes as I'm doing this post, so hey you ever know...

~ I find it hard to think Taylor Swift- Style won't be #1 to at least 1 more week. It will probably be #1 next week....

~ Since I didn't do T45 the last 2 weeks here is the T10!
10. Carly Rae Jepsen- I Really Like You (#22)
9. David Guetta/Nicki Minaj & Afrojack- Hey Mama (#16)
8. Nicki Minaj/Drake & Lil Wayne- Truffle Butter (#9)
7. Tove Lo- Talking Body (#4)
6. Natalie La Rose/Jeremih- Somebody (#11)
5. Walk The Moon- Shut Up And Dance (#3)
4. Wiz Khalifa/Charlie Puth- See You Again (#1)
3. Jason Derulo- Want To Want Me (#8)
2. Omarion/Chris Brown & Jhene Aiko- Post To be (#13)
1. Fifth Harmony- Worth It (#2) [+1 to #1!]

Just missing top 10: Meghan Trainor- Dear Future Husband, Tori Kelly- Nobody Love, Flo Rida/Sage The Gemini- GDFR, Nick Jonas- Chains, Zedd & Selena Gomez- I Want You to Know, Sia- Elastic Heart, and Ellie Goulding- Love Me Like You Do.

#TBT song of the week: Now the way this works is I'm going to pick a song from this week in a previous year and that is our TBT song of the week. Here is this weeks song from April 21st, 2012: Katy Perry- Part Of Me. This song was a personal favorite of mine back in 2K12, because it's just a good song! The reason I picked this song instead of songs like: Gym Class Heroes/Ryan Tedder- The Fighter and Train- Drive By is not because these were bad songs but I liked Part of me more! Also, This week in 2K12 Call Me Maybe debuted at #13, is that he highest debut ever?

Thanks for reading! As always.....

#AskLance #1!

Hey people!!!! The first Q&A post is here! We got 8 questions this time around. I'm only going to answer about 4 or 5 so if yours is not answered don't whine! For the next Q&A just ask the ? In the same form. Ok?? Okay! Let's get to it!

Question #1 from Emily: Why did you create this blog?

Answer: I felt like I needed to voice my opinions on this countdown! I have always been very passionate about my opinions on everything and this countdown was so intriguing to me I had to blog it. Fun Fact: My friend actually told me to start a blog but I told them I'd suck. Hey guess what they told me I'd get a lot of views... well I guess they were right.... I guess so. On to the next one. Great question Emily!

Question #2 from Larissa: When you 1st started the blog you were more serious, and to the point. You weren't as fun with the blurbs and it wasn't as fun to read. Why did you change that style?

Answer: I don't feel like I was fun enough to read. When I first started the blog I didn't really feel comfortable being super outgoing and Funny, I don't know why? I felt like the "small" countdown blogger that no one cards about. I felt like they just read my blog for nothing. Once I hit 3.5K Pageviews I noticed something. I noticed that if was good at this. I could make a blog from scratch and no help and people read it! Then I started being my stuck up, funny self. Blogging got more fun! I hope this blog grows a lot more so I can look back on these posts when I was at 47,000 Pageviews and be proud. Thanks for being the best guys! Next ?!!!

Question #3 from Jonathan: Lance, what are your hobbies?

Answer: I love to play Basketball. I also love anything sports related. Ask me any question about Football, Basketball, Baseball and I will no the answer (most likely) right away! Yes, I'm a sports fanatic... Hanging out with friends is probably my biggest hobby. I'm very popular in school and stuff so I hang out with friends and every Friday out big group goes to the movies so yeah... it's fun! Great question Jonny! Next!

Question #4 from Remy: Who do you want to win the NCAA tournament?

Answer: I'm gonna change this ? To Why DID you want to win, because the tournament ended last Monday. I wanted Kentucky to win. It would have been the 1st undefeated season so it'd be cool, but of course Wisconsin had to ruin it ;( I actually am a Georgia fan but they lost in the 1st round to Michigan State so yah... Great question from our commenting friend Remy! On to da next one!

Question #5 from Graham: Are sidebars ever updated? What is your favorite thing about blogging?

Answer: Well Graham great question! Here are my answers! The sidebars have been updated actually right when I saw your ? I updated them. Thanks for reminding me! As for the other ? here is my answer! My favorite thing about blogging is talking to you annoying people!!! No I'm just kidding you guys are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Yes even you Mikey (was that necessary?)... I love to see a new commenter and when Graham and Mikey and Trance (my first commenter) (he helped a lot) came along I was so happy! Thanks for being the best guys! Oh and Graham it's cool we look alike. :)))))))))

THANKS FOR SENDING IN THESE QUESTIONS! Oh, I have a question for mr. countdown Recap. It says you sent a question but your ? Doesn't show up. Please resend it! Thanks! I love you guys so and remember the link to ask questions is in the sidebar! As always.....

Biggest JUMP!!! Of the week: Rihanna/Beyoncé Lover/Paul McCartney- FourFiveSeconds (+18)

New entrants
~ Charli XCX called up Rita Ora to make this next song, Doing It! It's a pretty good song, actually. At first I really didn't like it due to the fact I've heard this type of beat 70 other times, but it's good! I don't know if this one will be as popular as Charli first hit, Boom Clap but it could definitely hit big!

~ "Banging The Drum like dum di di day, I like the dirty rhythm you play, I know you want it in the worst way, I wanna hear you calling my name like Hey ma ma, mama, hey ma, mama" ~ David Guetta- Hey Mama. Good song. Really good song!

~ Tove Lo had to sit on hitbound for like 4 months with this song. Finally, Talking Body had debuted the Hits 1 weekend countdown after a crazy long HB tenure and if this song doesn't do well (did I jinx it?) than it would seem like a waste of greatness :-( PLEASE DO GREAT, PLEASE????

Blurbies!
~ Alesso & Tove Lo are hanging on for dear life! I'm not mad about this. It's not like I actually hear this song during the week so whatever...

~ This whole The Weeknd- Earned It being at #43 is kinda absurd! Yes, this song is kinda old already, but still! This is #4 song on ITunes for crying out loud! If this falls again to #44 or #45 Adrian will go crazy and none of us want to see that so please jump?

~ Dang! I had a feeling Eden Xo- The Weekend would jump this week! I still don't understand how my fellow blogging partner (Adrian) doesn't like this song! He has to be hearing something different! I hear a catchy song that is really good, but I guess everyone has opinions of their own!

~ Nick Jonas- Jealous isn't going to leave yet then. Okay, like it's not terrible. But, if we are in May and this song is still hanging around I won't be happy. So leave soon.

~ I have figured out one thing, Mikey Piff is a lier! He said on Wednesday after Tori Kelly- Nobody Love aired it was the #20 song this week, not #24! C'mon Mikey, I thought I could trust you. I guess not! :(

~ Flo Rida- GDFR just basically jumped into the top 10! This is crazy folks. One more jump like 5 spots for GDFR and we could be looking at a possible #1 song...? It's possible but not likely, hey... #Youneverknow?

~ So I guess Taylor Swift's mom was diagnosed with cancer this last week. I'm praying for every night, and I hope everyone reading Adrian & my blog also is praying for her. Taylor, your mom is in our prayers, just remember that!

~ Sheppard- Geronimo doesn't want to leave the top 10! I'm okay with this, but I'm probably the only one that is okay with it. Why does everyone hate this song?!!?! I guess I'm just different.... :(

~ My #NumeroUnoPorFavor for the week actually has a chance! Walk The Moon jumps this week to #7!!!! Yes! This could be possible! Everyone vote as many times as possible for this song next week! We can get this to #1! Use this #ShutUpAndDancefor#1!

~ Maroon 5- Sugar has a chance. I don't want this song to be #1! Please no one vote for it. It isn't a bad song I just feel it would ruin Shut Up And Dance's chances (hey that rhymed!). This is the only time I've been against Maroon 5! I don't care....

~ #TaylorSwiftforqueen. Hey, she might as well be by now. 3 #1's in the span of 8 months. The most aired artist on radio this year. Yeah, she could be queen. The question is, When will this obsession end?

Top 5:
5. David Guetta & Nicki Minaj/ Afrojack- Hey Mama
4. Walk The Moon- Shut Up And Dance
3. Jason Derulo- Want To Want Me
2. Eden Xo- The Weekend
1. Tove Lo- Talking Body

Thank you for reading! Comment! I love yo guys and we almost are at #halfa100,000 Pageviews!!!! You rule (yes you)! As always...
