Newbies (and a re entrant)
~ Meghan Trainor had to re enter. Why couldn't All About That bass re enter?! Oh yeah, I forgot, because Hits 1 hates me with all their heart. Please leave next week!
~ "Cause tonight I'm shining bright, so bright"~ Echosmith.
Boy do I love this song! It has such a lovely feel, and makes you just feel happy. This one may not get as much "Hits 1 popularity" as it should but it is definitely better than that song about kids that are cool.
~ Nick Jonas is back and now has his second song on the countdown with Chains! This one was released before Jealous but got popular about 3 months after Jealous. Weird right? I actually didn't get into this song until about Christmas time when I heard it on the channel Venus and I loved it! I still up to this day and time love it! If this doesn't go farther than Jealous I'd be suprised because it's already at #30 and is probably gonna jump next week!
~ Now for my favorite debut of all! Sam Smith & John Legend with Lay Me Down! Stay With Me & I'm Not The Only One didn't appeal as much as this one at first listen and that's because when I first heard this song it just got to me so much, like I was forced to listen! Now this track is like my 4th fav song and only climbing the ranks! Brace yourselfbecause I think we have a #1 in this song!
Blurbies!
~ Alright so Spyder obviously didn't take my request seriously? Alright I see how it is! The Weeknd- Earned It had got as far as to #3 on ITunes (Friday) so what the flip is it doing at #42 here! This is crazy! Unbeliaveble and crazy! I don't how you can be okay with this crap! Okay I'll stop. Let's just fix this, Spyder, okay? Thanks!
~ Eden Xo listened! She made Hits 1 let here awesome song jump! I hope this one jumps again next week because to be honest if she doesn't drop the music video than this probably won't blow up. It does have potential tho!
~ I really started enjoying Calvin Harris & Ellie Goudling- Outside. Like to a limit where I couldn't stop listening to it! This song better not have this type of tenure because as of now it's in my top 5 at #4 or #3 and I want that to stay!
~ C'mon Tori! Not the Tori commenting but Tori Kelly! This song deserves a bigger jump! Please Hits 1! I really hope this song at least gets top 5 because it would make Lance happy!
~ Guys Mark my words. Jason Derulo- Want To Want Me will be top 2 song on this countdown. Mark those words. Now. Do it. This will happen. I'm okay with it but are you?
~ Uma Thurman & Night Changes, I now have no opinion on! I started enjoying them again this week. If Uma Thurman hits #1 than I'll hate it but Night Changes I actually started enjoying this week again. Interesting right?
~ Taylor Swift- Style is our next #1 song! I have to prepare for this earlier than it's actually going to happen so I'm ready. Everyone that hates Style brace yourself because next week it probably has a 50% of being out NĂºmero uno...
~ We welcomed back our great comment Thatchos this weekend! Welcome back Thatch (Lance making bad nicknames again) and we hope you stay a while! Also, we got a new commenter this weekend Tori! Welcome Tori and we hope to have you commenting for as long as your heart desires! Let's get to this weeks moments/awards
#TBT moment of week- The week Taylor Swift- Shake It Off 1st hit #1 starting 8 straight calendar months where she was at #1 (still going on)!
#Flashback moment- I heard Calvin Harris- Summer last night and it reminded me of Summer (crying emoji). I miss those days!
#Commenteroftheweek- Graham! Congrats on your award!
#Hits1HopeOfTheWeek- We have a song that has never hit #1 hit #1 next week? Please?
New Series!
~ This new weekly post is totally interactive! Anyone can be involved! Even anonymous people! It's a WEEKLY Q&A series! The reason why I'm doing this is becuase you can ask anything, I will answer. Unless obviously it's a stalker like question, like, " Where do you live, I love you". That'd scary... Yeah! The place to submit your questions will be linked in a new section on the sidebar labeled "Q&A series" sometime later tonight! I really hope you are pumped for this new thing because I truly am! I hope you guys have a great day and follow your dreams (Lance is now a wisdom Speaker). Hope y'all have a great day and as always.....

Entrants
~ Marlon Roudette is hear with his debut single on the Sirius Xm Hits 1 weekend countdown..... And.... Ya know. Not bad. Not bad at all. Nothing great and probably won't last long but while your hear I'll enjoy you!
~ Jason Derulo is back! This is probably his 3rd best song behind Talk Dirty (#1) & The Other side (#2). This song has a good feel to it at the beggining and it's followed by a great chorus that gets me moving. It's really good if you like fast fun songs.... But if not.... Well then.... I just feel sorry for you.
Hitbound
~ Hitbound review is back this week! We had some new songs enter so let's get to them!
~ 1st we have Charli XCX & Rita Ora- Doing it! Another song by Charli that's just fun! I hope if it debuts it isn't like Break The Rules because if it is.... I swear.... I will break the rules of blogger and it won't be funny. Let's just hope it's doesn't come to that! Right? Okay!
~ Carly Rae Jepsen is back and if you remember in 2012 she had the crazy hit Call Me Maybe. I was definitely a fan of that one and just as much of a fan of this one! Right now that is. I actually just got over watching the parody to this song and yeah now I'm singing it.... I'll be back right after I listen to this song.... okay back!
~ Sia has had 2 songs enter hits 1 including this next one titled Elastic Heart! This song is good! It really has a nice upbeat feel to it! I see only one problem with this song. The music video is just plain disgusting. Sia not to be rude. Because I know you apologized, but that's not art, it's just plain out disgusting.
Blurbs..... (Disclaimer: Lance isn't very happy in them)
~ I don't understand this countdown logic! No sense at all! How the (insert bad word) does Four Five Seconds not jump! It's the 7th most popular song in America, not 41! Hits 1 needs to figure out that songs like I Lived and Night Changes aren't really that popular anywhere else, because Spyder, after all you did say this was THE 45 MOST POPULAR SONGS IN NORTH AMERICA! Sure doesn't look like it to me though...
~ *Lance looks at countdown for one second and sees something peculiar* (3 minutes later)... OneRepublic- Love Runs Out is still here?!?! For all I know Blank Space, Thinking Out Loud, Uptown Funk, Sugar, Love Me Like You do, Take Me to Church, and every other song to exist will leave before this crap! Why did I like this song so much when it came out? Still haven't answered that question...
~ The goal of this countdown is to jump spots! Eden Xo isn't doing that! Hits 1 isn't giving you the love you need on this awesome song! Like OMG people it's the weekend? Let's get this song back into the teens! Anyone? Okay no one? Okay.
~ *Lance sees Earned It at #34* I thought this song was like #6 on ITunes..... I also thought it got a lot of airplay this week.... and I also thought it would jump more than 6 spots! *Hences big jump next week*
~ I was sure Nova Rockefeller- Made In Gold would leave. Thankfully it didn't though! I need this song to jump! Hits1 doesn't do anything to make me happy so can you guys do this one thing?!?!!??
~ If it's gonna be that kinda tenure for Calvin Harris & Ellie Goudling- Outside than I'm not gonna be to happy. I hate the tenures where a song jumps 4 spots.... then drops 5 spots.... Them jumps 6 spots... Then drops 2 spots! Those are annoying. Please don't have one. Please.
~ Tori Kelly- Nobody Love wasn't supposed to drop! I seriously hope this song hits #1 here. It would make my day. It's just such a feel good song that... if it doesn't at least hit top 5 I think I'd be letdown!
~ Taylor Swift is hanging in there with the two most popular songs in North America (according to every other countdown) and it's doing pretty well. I feel a drop coming soon but until then stay as long as possible! I would love to make all the Uptown Funk fans very sad.... (Does evil laugh)
~ I knew it. I even said it last week. Read my blurbs for real. I stated: "This is a one week thing, next week Thinking Out Loud will be right back at #1.... and I'm only prepared for the worst", well after all I did say I was prepared for the worst so let's just see what the worst is.... hopefully not to bad.... because you don't wanna see me in epic mad mode!
~ There is now a tie for the worst songs on the countdown: I Lived, Uptown Funk, Thinking Out Loud. I sense one of them will drop soon but I won't mention which one!

Newbies
~ On this week of "Newbies" where I introduce to you all the new songs on our lovely countdown we have 2 songs, well actually one but anyway let's get to them!
~ Alesso & Tove Lo tried! They really did! They were Heroes!!! (Lance cries) (why I don't know) Thank you for re-entering..... JUST KIDDING! Why'd this re enter!!!! It doesn't deserve once it left it should have been done! (Lance calms himself) please leave next week..............
~ Well Well! George Ezra, the British guy, has debuted. Don't be fooled by the color, I actually do know this song... But... I don't know what to think! It's just boring, but at the same time insanely fun (To me! Don't judge) but maybe I'll like it maybe not!
Hitbound
Okay! This week on hitbound there were Zero, Zip, Natta (is that even right spelling), and NO debuts on hitbound! Why? Because we had no debuts off hitbound dumbos! No just kidding your not dumb (can I shut up!).
~ Obviously, I was terribly wrong about the Chains having a huge airplay week thing I said! Hey I'm optimistic though!! That's good right (no!?!) (whatever, haters gon hate!). Anyway, It aired like..... 7 or 8 times during the school week! Yep my prediction was just.... That bad!
~ The Weeknd- Earned It grew on me a lot in the last week! I swear this guy intentionally does his hair like that. Like for real! How does this live with such ugly hair. It looks like a pigeon is in his hair. Ok I'll stop! Sorry for being mean Abel Tesfaye (his real name).
~ Gosh hitbound was really boring this week! That's enough let's get to the blurbs!
Baby if you want blurbs then all of this will go away!
~ Since Ed Sheeran won't be #1 again next week (I'm sure of it), the question who's our next #1 artist?!? I'm gonna make a poll for it and that'll be out later. But first let me make my prediction! I'm gonna go with Maroon 5! Why? It only makes sense. Uptown Funk isn't getting enough digital sales anymore. Blank Space isn't getting enough digital sales anymore. Thinking Out Loud is 2nd in digital sales with Sugar at 3rd, but who's first. Uptown Funk is but it's only dropping everywhere else and it won't be #1 again next week. I feel this is an opportunity for either M5 or Ellie Goulding and if they don't take it, well, it might never come around again...
~ Vance Joy- Riptide Is #12! Who would've knew! A song that goes on hitbound and debuts. Gets to #22 and.... Drops to #30. Gets back to #22. Jumps to #14. Drops back to #22. Gets back to #14. And this time it follows through with a jump to #12! Could we have a T10 song!?!!??
~ Hozier did a "cover" of Royal Grande- Problem (That's Ariana's nickname) and lets just say he slayed it! Absolutely amazing! I know I hate Take Me To Church but that doesn't deny this guy has talent! Oh boy he's very talented! Hozier we might have our next Sam Smith here (a breakout artist that keeps making hits!)
~ Pitbull (Dog or Person) & Ne Yo are not done with Time Of Our Lives and by this I mean it still has more! This happened to Take Me To Church & Jealous at very similar times! I look forward to seeing you back in the 30's next week! Right!?! Okay!
~ I'm tired of my boring background on my posts! Expect a change tonight people!
~ I realized that I really don't get enough feedback from you guys! So I'm gonna do what Jason did and make a poll basically saying how do you like the blog. If I get a bad vote I'll try to find out who voted that and see what they don't like and how I can change it!
~ Eden xo- The Weekend is insanely Catchy! I love it! I love the opening of the song and each verse that, "Shoop Shoop, Shoop be doop doop". I don't know it makes me feel good!
~ I must say now that..... LunchMoney Lewis- Bills is absolutely amazing!!! I literally love it so much! But of course I like more fast paced upbeat fun songs not slow serious songs. But I guess everyone has their own thing they like!
~ This week viewer/commenter of the week is..... Drumroll...... Thatchos! Congratulations on your award!

5. LunchMoney Lewis- Bills
4. Eden Xo- The Weekend
